Life Changing Events

One minute you're driving down the road without a care in the world, then suddenly your cell phone rings and a loved one is in the hospital. It's an emergency and all of your plans suddenly change as you head for the hospital. It is amazing how quickly one event can change the course of your life. Sometimes those events cause good changes, other times they can be a disaster.

In one moment God can change everything in your life and give you the hope of eternal life.

"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being prepared. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, and like this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Christ Jesus." I Peter 3:18-21

This Sunday we will be talking about I Peter 3:18-21 and how important it is for us to get in the boat! In just one moment when you are baptized, you can receive the grace of God that will save you for eternity.  It is the most important moment of your life!
