There are two things we must never forget about the Lord's church; first we must never forget who the enemy is and how powerful he is. Our real enemy is Satan who wants our souls and he is constantly on the attack. Paul explains in Ephesians chapter six that there is a great war going on and it's taking place in realms that we cannot understand., Therefore, we must depend on Christ and the power of His body to keep us safe.
The second thing we must always remember is that Christ will overcome Satan. The kingdom of God is more powerful than the kingdom of Satan. Even the gates of Hades (hell) cannot stand against the power of God's kingdom. Christ will win the ultimate battle and save our souls if we stay faithful to Him. The fullness of Christ dwells within His body and we can be assured of His strength.
