Let Your Light Shine!

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven."

Last Wednesday night our summer series got off to a great start! Sam Dilbeck gave us some great ideas about how we can share the message of Christ with others.  This week the topic will be letting our light shine in the community.  If we look we will find hundreds of people right here in the Waxahachie area that need help.  When we get involved in the community it gives us the opportunity to share the message of Christ.  People will respond to God's love when they see it in our actions.  Mayor Scooter Gierisch of Roanoke, Texas will be sharing some great ideas on how you and your family can make our community better and share Christ.
